Less masks, more vaccine development.
After President Biden’s State of the Union address, the White House released a 96-page plan outlining the next steps they will be taking to fight COVID-19. The plan proposes on-the-spot treatments at local pharmacies, funding labs to prepare for new variants, and scaling up vaccine production to 1 billion doses per year to fully vaccinate both the United States and help allied nations who need additional access to vaccines.
“To fully execute on this plan requires Congress doing its part to invest in tools that work,” the White House stated. “This plan lays out the roadmap to help us fight COVID-19 in the future as we move America from crisis to a time when COVID-19 does not disrupt our daily lives and is something we prevent, protect against, and treat.”
As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…
- For the president and his healthcare officials as they reassess virus mitigation strategies.
- For members of Congress to have discernment regarding health care legislation.
